STEPHEN A. MORSE, PE, LEED AP O+M - email Stephen

Founder and Owner Stephen A. Morse is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York, Florida, Connecticut and Massachsetts as well as the Vice President Emeritus of Engineers Withut Borders-New York City Chapter (www.ewbny.org). Mr. Morse received his BS from Merrimack College and MS from Columbia University in Civil Engineering.

DON SHORT, LLB – email Don

Don is Business Operations Manager. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta (Inactive). Don brings experience with business operations, financial analysis and management, and contract review due to his time as a practicing attorney and as a business operations consultant.

MEHMET SAKAR, M.Sc - email Mehmet

Mehmet Sakar received his B.S. in Civil Engineering and M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering from Middle East Technical University and is a current PhD candidate. He worked in the Turkish Government as a Structural Engineer and in the private sector as a Geotechnical Engineering consultant. After 11 years of experience from design to construction and management in Turkey, he moved in to New York in May 2006, where he continued in construction and engineering consulting.





KASEY PACE - email Kasey

Kasey recently joined the GRANT Team as the Director of Construction 
Services. Kasey brings over 15 years of experience in the construction
 industry on a variety of project types ranging from fast track interior fit
outs to complete removal / rebuild high rise mixed use specialty buildings.
The ability to maintain relationships with clients, consultants and
subcontractors, as well as the innovative approach to developing new
construction programs that best achieve each clients goals, makes Mrs. Pace
 an asset to all GRANT project teams.



RebeccaREBECCA TUMMON, LEED AP BD+C – email Rebecca

Rebecca serves as the Director of Environmental Services with over 14 years’ experience in both the private and public sectors in NYC. She has prior experience working as environmental consultant for two engineering firms and as a supervisor for the New York City Department of Design and Construction. She received her BS in Environmental Science from the University of British Columbia and has extensive experience managing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, Environmental Assessment Statements, and Remedial Investigations for private developers and city agencies. Prior experience includes East Side Access, Hudson Yards, No. 7 Subway Extension, JFK Light Rail train, and Gowanus Canal Superfund Site. She also currently acts as program manager for residential energy audits with NYSERDA and commercial energy audits under Local Law 87. Her expertise in the field of environmental engineering, building energy, and performance analysis makes her a core asset not only to GRANT; but, also to the sustainable future.


PAM SHORT, MBA - email Pam

Pam Short is part of the Financial Operations group. Pam holds an MBA and has 15 years of managerial experience in a variety of industries. She has extensive background in all aspects of accounting and bookkeeping, preparation and analysis of financial statements and executive reports, human resource management, office management, and commercial lending.




JOHN RITZO, EIT – email John

John was awarded his first Bachelor’s in the University of North Carolina in Physics and Mathematics. He continued pursuing his interests and acquired his second Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from City College. John’s background in Physics and Mathematics gives him a sophisticated grasp on even the most complex aspects of civil engineering.





BRIAN J. CRANDALL Jr., EIT - email Brian

Brian Crandall received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Wyoming where he focused his studies in environmental engineering. He brings experience as a field engineer, surveyor, and draftsman for the public and private sectors. He is particularly interested in environmental engineering, land development, and water resources.







Matthew is working with GRANT to provide clients with environmental services. He works directly with NYSERDA, BPI and Energy Star’s home performance and efficiency programs and provides his technical expertise to increase energy efficiency.




Betsy Gillard2

BETSY GILLARD, EIT – email Betsy

Betsy Gillard has a BS in Civil Engineering and plays a multi-disciplinary role on GRANT’s engineering team. She has experience working in both the public and private sectors of civil engineering and is particularly interested in sustainable development. She has worked on development projects in Nicaragua and is active on a project in El Salvador with EWB-NY.




JIMMY NGO - email Jimmy

Jimmy is a global marketing and communication expert who has been connecting people and products through technology. His role is to build digital engagement amongst our current and prospective clients. His unique set of skills and experiences brings a different perspective to GRANT. 







Gillian provides GRANT staff with maintaining an organized support structure in order to maintain consistency and efficiency. Development of the process in conjunction with project needs and maintaining the document management are just a few of her responsibilities.
